Greetings Investors,

Smart investors are always on the hunt for what is going to be big tomorrow.

When you apply this concept to the food world, there is just one straightforward takeaway: pay attention to plant-based and vegan companies!

The success of companies like Impossible Foods and Beyond Meat has drawn massive attention to the plant-based protein sector.

For years, Americans have been obsessed with their meat. It has been a staple of most meals throughout the 20th century. Today’s consumer however is looking at meat through a different lens.

The steak and burger are not as fancy when you consider their role in global warming and how unhealthy they are for your heart and liver.

Plant-based food are now the future of eating — and over the next decade, the traditional food industry is going to be entirely disrupted by emerging plant-based foods companies!

Feel Foods Ltd. (OTC: FLLLF) (CSE: FEEL) is such an emerging player and is on a mission to transform plant-based food, with no compromises on taste or quality of products while making a positive global environmental impact!

We are on a mission to transform plant-based food, with no compromises on taste or quality while reducing global environmental impact. Together, by shifting our collective approach to food, we can improve the health of our world, the lives of animals, and preserve valuable resources for generations to come.”

Not only do plant-based foods support your immune system, but plants also have essential nutrients that you cannot get from other foods. The vitamins and minerals, phytochemicals and antioxidants in plants help keep your cells healthy and your body in balance so that your immune system can function at its best.

“Plants give your body what it needs to help fight off infection,” says Andrea Murray, MD Anderson health education specialist. “A plant-based diet strengthens your immune system to protect you against germs and microorganisms.”

A healthy immune system is essential for reducing your risk for cancer because it can recognize and attack mutations in cells before they can progress to disease.

Plant foods reduce inflammation. Plants’ essential nutrients work to resolve inflammation in your body.

A plant-based diet also has been shown to reduce your risk for heart disease, stroke, diabetes and some mental health illnesses.

The same tiny phytochemicals and antioxidants that boost your immune system also go around your body neutralizing toxins from pollution, processed food, bacteria, viruses and more.

Prolonged inflammation can damage your body’s cells and tissue.

“Antioxidants in plants grab all these so-called free radicals that can throw your body off balance,” says Murray. “To reduce inflammation, it’s important to eat plant-based and to listen to your body’s signals for how foods work for you.”

A plant-based diet can have a significant positive impact on the environment and your health. Research shows that meat and dairy products are fueling the climate crisis, while plant-based diets—focused on fruits, vegetables, grains, and beans—help protect the planet.

  • A report published in The Lancet in 2019 concluded that a dietary shift toward plant foods and away from animal products is vital for promoting the health of our planet.
  • A global shift to a plant-based diet could reduce mortality and greenhouse gases caused by food production by 10% and 70%, respectively, by 2050.
  • A report from the United Nations Environment Programme says that “animal products, both meat and dairy, in general require more resources and cause higher emissions than plant-based alternatives.”
  • The World Health Organization says, “Reducing livestock herds would also reduce emissions of methane, which is the second largest contributor to global warming after carbon dioxide.”
  • According to one climate change calculator, eating 75 grams of beef—a typical fast-food hamburger—daily for a year contributes greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to driving a car 7,196 miles!

Major Developments

Feel Foods Ltd. Completes Construction on Its Cold Storage Facility

The company has completed construction of its new cold storage facility consisting of 2,600 cubic square feet of cold storage.

The cold storage and corporate headquarters located in Port Coquitlam, BC will serve as the logistical hub for both its plant-based meat and cheese products. This lower mainland location will enhance inventory management of the recently announced Black Sheep Vegan Cheeze products, allowing the Company to keep retailer’s shelves stocked with Black Sheep products and allow for additional product availability. The new cold storage facility will allow for the launch of the Company’s upcoming e-commerce marketplace and the commencement of Province wide online sales.

On September 7th the Company received its “CFIA” Safe Food For Canadians License and is in the process of applying for its CFIA export license. This will allow the company to both export its products to the US and overseas as well as import products for sale in the Canadian market.

“As the company continues to grow, both organically and by way of acquisitions into new verticals it was clear that a strategically located, central distribution and storage facility was a necessary component to both reduce costs of contract cold storage and shipping logics. We are excited to have this completed and look forward to utilizing our new facility to reduce costs and touch points in our supply chain.”
